Dollie Mae Robinson

Dollie Mae Parker Robinson, 100, of Marion, NC passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10am at Autumn Care of Marion with Mary Revis by her side. A lifelong resident of McDowell County and of Autumn are Nursing Facility for the past 12 years. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Turkey Cove Baptist Church, and was very active in her church.

She was born July 19, 1912 in McDowell County, to the late James Harrison and Dorcas Howard Parker.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by 2 late husbands; William Fate Burnette and Marion Robinson.

Surviving Mrs. Robinson are a daughter; Mary Burnette Revis, 5 Grandchildren; Roger Revis, wife Sally of Marion, Susan White, husband Skip, of Hendersonville, NC, Sharon Short, husband Tomy, of Clayton, GA, Sandy Gibbs, of Marion, Shelia Parker, husband Tony, of Marion, 9 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 15, 2012 in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Coy Jeans and Jewel McNeal officiating. Burial will follow at McDowell Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
