Doris Jean Mace

Doris Jean Mace, of Marion went to be with the Lord, Monday, September 29, 2014. Miss Mace was born in McDowell County to the late George Phillip Mace and Annie Odell Ownbey Mace. Miss Mace attended the East Marion Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and making crafts. She was a beautician and owner of Doris’s Beauty Shop in Marion.

Her memory will be cherished by her sister, Irene Mace, of Marion;

Special neighbors, Woody Cranford& Family, Mack Cranford & Family, Doug & Jean Taylor, and Gene Honeycutt & Family, all of Marion;

A host of cousins and friends will also cherish her memory.

Funeral Services for Miss Mace will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2014, in the McCall Memorial Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home, Marion, with Reverend Phillip J. Tate officiating. Interment will follow at the Nebo Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
