Edith Mae Flynn Willis, 80, of Marion, NC, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Memorial Mission Hospital. She was born February 18, 1931 in McDowell County, NC, to the late Mock W. Flynn and Hessie E. Hall Flynn.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband James Willis; two brothers, Fred Flynn and Earnest James Martin; and one sister, Lucille Holden.
Mrs. Willis is survived by her son, Gary Willis of Marion, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Bruce Ward officiating. Burial will follow at McDowell Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
