Edward John Borkowski

Edward John Borkowski, age 87, of Marion, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday,

February 20, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Borkowski was born on August 17, 1928 to the late Stanley and Katherine Borkowski. He was a member of All Saints Parish in Burlington, NJ and was retired from Occidental Chemical Company. He was also a lifetime member of the Fireman’s Exempt Association with Mitchell Fire Company in Burlington, NJ.

Mr. Borkowski loved doing handyman work, collecting lighthouses, and surf fishing at the Jersey Shore. Most importantly, Mr. Borkowski was a family man and he loved them all dearly.

In addition to his parents, he is preceeded in death by his brothers, Henry Borkowski, Stephen Borkowski, and a sister, Cecelia Borkowski.

Surviving Mr. Borkowski are his wife of 51 years, Mary Louise Brant Borkowski; daughters, Theresa Carr and her husband, Scott Dockery, of Nebo, NC and Ann Marie Borkowski, of Revere, Massachusetts; and a sister, Genevieve Salaga of Burlington, NJ.
