Harold Edward Cox

Mr. Harold Edward Cox, 65, of Marion, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at his residence. Born on May 17, 1946 in Sullivan County, TN, he was the son of the late George Cox and Bertha Hollifield Cox. Mr. Cox served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, George, Jr., Robert, Beatric and Irma.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Carrier Cox; children, Jennifer Mace and her husband, Sean and Jesse Cox; grandchildren, Christina Mace, Alexis Mace, Rustyn Mace, Tobias Hill Cox and Aiden Cox; brothers and sisters, Reginald “Perry”, Delbert “Buster”, Wayne, William “Bill”, James “Dinky”, Dennis “Punk”, Ina, Phyllis and Ava; and half-brother and half-sister, Norman and Evelyn.

A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2011 at his residence on Folk Dr. in Marion with the Reverend Ed Skeens officiating.
