Jack D. Hollifield

Surviving are his wife, Hazel Webb Hollifield of the home; one son, Doug Hollifield and wife, Brenda of Spruce Pine, NC; two granddaughters, Shannon Glenn and husband, Bobby and Carrie Buchanan and husband, Brian all of Spruce Pine, NC; three great-grandchildren, Corey Hollifield, Kaila Hollifield and Trista Riddle; one great-great-grandson, Brandon Zeidell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 11, 2011 in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion, NC with Kevin Killam and Harlan Hamilton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at McDowell Memorial Park, on Old Hwy. 10 in McDowell County, NC.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Mr. Hollifield.
