Jerald Dwayne Lindsay

He was born April 8, 1958 in Farmington, New Mexico to Judith Allen Lindsay of Marion, NC and to the late George Mitchell Lindsay. Jerald was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved NASCAR and was a huge Dale Earnhart fan! He enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Janell Ballard.

Surviving Jerald are his wife, Clara Hill Lindsay of the home; five children, Jarrid Lindsay of Morganton, NC, Brandon Lindsay of Lenoir, NC, Shasta Lindsay and husband, T.J. of Ocklawaha, FL, Kyle Lindsay of Morganton, NC and Patrick Hill and fiancé, Tracie Hendon of Greeneville, TN; seventeen grandchildren and one on the way; one nephew, Bobby Ballard of Concord, NC; and his beloved dog, Scrappydoodle.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at East Marion Pentecostal Holiness Church. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Terry Wiler officiating.
