He was born November 2, 1930 in New York, NY to the late Isadore Emanuel and Grace Emanuel Lawn. Joe was a veteran of the United States Army and was awarded a Purple Heart. He worked as an accountant. He was also a wonderful father and grandfather.
Surviving Joe are two sons, Jay Emanuel and wife, Nancy of Fletcher, NC and Ronald Emanuel and wife, Marla of Parkland, FL; four grandchildren, Matthew, Bradley, Jaime and Brandon. Also surviving Joe is his best friend, who he called his brother, Yvon Joly.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Southwest Ranches, FL with Rabbi Thompson officiating.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
