Mrs. Judith Lynn Wolf Larson, 73, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at her residence. Born on June 17, 1940 in Erie, PA, she was the daughter of Duane A. Wolf the late Edith Mary Berry Wolf.
Mrs. Larson touched many lives. She was an avid Pen Pal always sending letters and known for her gift of Juicy Fruit gum. She was a great cook, baker and decorator who also loved her garden and beautiful flowers. She had a love for crafts, especially knitting and crocheting.
Mrs. Larson was involved within the Cancer Community, especially with “Hugs for Life”. She and her husband were foster parents for several years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was a vibrant person who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was loved by her family more than anything and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and daughter.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Mary Berry Wolf; and sister, Carol Wolf. She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, John Larson; children, Carol Robertson and her husband, Tom Robertson, IV of Weddington, NC, John L. Larson, Jr. and his wife, Robyn of Stanley, NC, Mary Cathryn Chappel and her husband, Terry of Indian Trail, NC and Eric Duane Larson of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brooks, Elaine, Michael, John III, Amanda, David, Emily and Gabrielle; great-grandchildren, Ava, Atticus, Roman and Jackson; father, Duane A. Wolf of Smyrna, TN; sister, Diane “DeDe” Reeves and her husband, Terry of Old Hickory, TN; and brother, Dennis Wolf and his wife, Marina of Erie, PA.
A private Memorial Service was held previously at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion.
