He was born February 15, 1971 in McDowell County to the late Larry Ray Tate, Sr. and Brenda Hill Tate.
In addition to his father he is also preceded in death by his Grandfather, Charles D. Tate, Sr., and aunt, Ellen E. Tate.
Surviving is his mother, Brenda Tate, Marion, two children; a son and a daughter, one grandmother, five brothers, six sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Services will be held Saturday June 25, 2011 at 2:00 PM at McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home Marion, visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at McDowell Cemetery.
