Rebecca Nelle Gross Lawson

She was born November 19, 1954 in Wayne County, MI to Gus and Madeline Hensley Gross of Bartow, FL. She loved reading books.

Mrs. Lawson is preceded in death by her sister, Singie Halfman.

In addition to her parents, surviving are her husband, Rick Lawson of the home; one son, Christopher McCall and wife, Ashley of Roan Mountain, TN; one daughter, Julie McCall of Rotterdamn, Holland; one grandson, Joel McCall of the home; four step-children; several step-grandchildren; two brothers, Madison Gross and wife, Alayne of North Cove and Jeffrey Gross and wife, Penny of Ashford Community; one sister, Harriette Phelps and husband, Brian of Brownstown, MI; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Billie Halfman and Rebecca Crandall; and many, many other friends.

An open house memorial service will be held from 12:00 noon until later in the evening on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the home of Madison Gross - 357 North Cove School Rd. Marion, NC 28752.
