Ricky Dean Roland

Mr. Ricky Dean Roland, 56, of Marion, passed away, Friday, June 13, 2014, while at his residence. Born August 11, 1957, in McDowell County, he was a son of the late Paul Roland and Lola Mae Douthit Roland. In addition to his parents, Mr. Roland was also preceded in death by a brother, James Paul Roland and a sister, Patricia Jane Roland. Mr. Roland loved children and pets. He especially loved to be with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed going to area trade lots and yard sales.

He will lovingly be remembered by a brother, John Lee Roland, of Marion;

Three sisters, Wanda Kaye Webb, of Ellenboro, NC, Cheri Lynn Byrd and husband, Donnie, of Nebo, NC and Susie Mae Mace and husband Phillip, of Ellenboro, NC;

Four step-daughters, Anita, Teresa, Selina and Mandy;

He will also be lovingly remembered by a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in the fellowship hall of Nebo Crossing, Nebo.
