Samuel Rondus Mashburn

Samuel R. Mashburn, 66, of Marion, NC passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Mashburn was born on May 27, 1946 to the late Grady Mashburn and Candus Styles Mashburn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Claudelle Davis, and a brother Billy Mashburn.

He is survived by his wife Ina Mashburn, of the home, three sons; Johnny Martin, of the home, Michael Mashburn, of Marion, and David Mashburn, wife Michelle, of Marion. Four sisters and two brothers; Johnnie Mae Hogue, husband Leonard, of High Point, Ullyss Mashburn, wife Alice, of High Point, Odessa Gillespie, husband Robert, of Gastonia, Mary Dills, husband Robert, of Bryson City, Tommy Mashburn, wife Debbie, Hickory, and June Pendergrass, husband Jimmy of Andrews. Three grandchildren; Johnny Martin, Jr. Jessica Walker, Lynn Martin, and one grandson on the way, Charles Samuel Mashburn. Two special pets Chella, and Copper.

The family will have a memorial service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the home of Mr. Mashburn; 4998 Old Fort Sugar Hill Rd. Marion, NC 28752.
