Thomas "Tom" Franklin Hoyle

Tom was born July 17, 1967 in McDowell County, NC to the late William B. Hoyle, Jr and to Mildred Biggerstaff Hoyle of Marion. He worked as a Welder and a Maintenance Technician. He was certified in many different types of Welding. He was a member of Cross Memorial Baptist Church and he was a Boy Scout. Tom loved the outdoors, his family and children. He was known for his sense of humor and his playful personality. He was a wonderful husband and father.

In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Hoyle.

Surviving Tom are his wife of 21 years, Susan Faw Hoyle of the home; his beloved daughter, Kathryn Hoyle of the home; two brothers, Boyd Hoyle and wife, Mellisa and David Hoyle all of Marion; three sisters, Lona Biggerstaff, Cindy Robinson and husband, Eric and Leigh Neal and husband, Joe all of Marion; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Mary Faw of Old Fort. Also surviving Tom are several nieces and nephews, all of whom, he loved dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Cross Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Prevette and Rev. Duane Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. All other times the family will gather at the home of Mildred Hoyle.
