Todd Alan Swepson

Mr. Todd Alan Swepson,63 of Marion ,entered into rest on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. A native of McDowell County, he is the son of Lula Arvis Logan Swepson and the late Cecil Swepson, Sr. He Graduated from McDowell High School in 1972 and attended Gardner-Webb University. He was a member of Addie's Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to his father, he preceded in death by his brother, Karl Bradford Swepson

Mr. Swepson is survived by his mother Lula Arvis Logan Swepson; by his son, Michael Marlon Borders of Morganton NC; by three brothers, Cecil Swepson Jr. of Marion ;Anthony Stewart Swepson SR. and wife Yola of Black Mountain; Jeffrey Lynn Swepson of Marion; by two sisters, Gwendolyn Gail Williams and Gloria Boyce and husband Larry, all of Marion; and by his aunt,Coretha Lytle of Old Fort.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 6,2017 at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church in Marion from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm. A funeral service celebrating his life will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. Thelena Jackson officiating and Jeffrey Conley Providing the Eulogy.
