

On the 21st of September, 2012, this great land lost a true patriot, Warren J. Wall. Born on May 14, 1924 in Appling County, Georgia, he was the son of the late John D. Wall and Eleanora Arrowood Wall.
Mr. Wall was a veteran of the United States Army, 45th Division, Combat Medic, having served during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Lucille Allison and Helen Pittman; and brother, Creed Wall.
He is survived by his wife, Erina Wall; his children, Diane Wall Gainey and her husband, Millard of Durham, Harold Wall and his wife, Sarah Greer Wall of Aiken, SC, Jerry Wall and his wife, Christine Davis Wall of Charleston, SC, Tammy Owensby of Newland, and Chris Wall and his wife, Pam of Marion; 10 grandchildren, Derrick Gainey, Dr. Maria Wallen, Michelle Anderson, Mike Wall, Steve Wall, Dollie Adcock, Morgan Hartwell, Tasha Connor, Nateara Hensley and Shandy Lannin; step-granddaughter, Brandi Bowman; and 14 great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Brittany, Christina, Carlie, Jase, Brianna, Jillian, Lilly, Zoi, Riley, Drake, Hayden, Gracie and Tinley.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Newland. Full Military Honors will be presented to honor Mr. Wall following the service.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

He will be missed by all, but the love for his country and family will endure. The love and faith he gave so easily will go on by all of the people and family he loved so very dear. He will be missed.
