
He was a member of Pharrs Chapel AME Zion Church of Old Fort. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing and being with nephews and family. Mr. Logan was a quiet man and liked animals. He was known for his abilities to fix anything that was broken, a true handyman.
Mr. Logan is survived by his son, William “Billy” De Shawn Logan of Houston,Texas who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Katie Logan of the home; sisters, Charlene Hamilton, Dora Means, Kathy Logan and husband Norman, Carolyn Hutchinson and husband Willie, Sheila O’Neil and husband James, Cynthia Carson, Loretta Carson and husband Emmett all of Old Fort.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Old Fort Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Old Fort with the Reverend David Rankin officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the sanctuary on Tuesday.
