

Frances “Sue” Anstett, 80 of Markle passed away at 8:05 a.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Markle Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She had worked at General Electric in Fort Wayne for 29 years, retiring in 1989. She enjoyed working in the yard. She was a member of the St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
She was born on September 27, 1931 in Fowler, Indiana, a daughter of Henley T. and Laverne M. (Lindenmyer) Estes.
She was united in marriage to Alvin C. Anstett on June 9, 1951 at the St. Joseph Church in Earl park, Indiana. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include two sons: Glen A. Anstett of Uniondale; Michael G. Anstett of Ossian; a daughter: Nancy M. Caley of Payton, CO; a brother: Bryce D. Estes of Fowler, IN; a sister: Ilene M. Spiker of Fowler, IN; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: Larry E. Anstett; three brothers: Charles Estes, Sam Estes, Harrison Estes and three sisters: Florence Miller, Alice Rainbolt and Mandy Childers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel.
Interment will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Roanoke, Indiana.
