Kim A. Youkey

Kim A. Youkey, 61 of Westville, Illinois and formerly of the Markle area passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at his residence. Kim was a 1975 graduate of Rossville-Alvin High School where he was active playing basketball, track and baseball. He had attended Eureka College where he played football. Kim was a brick mason for many years, retiring in 2016. He was a member of the Laborers Union Local 703 of Champagne, Illinois and he was an avid golfer. He was born on October 13, 1956 in Fort Wayne, the son of Richard L. and Eunice E. (Bradburn) Youkey. Survivors include a son: Kim A. Youkey II of Cape Coral, FL; two brothers: Kent (Teresa) Youkey of Brownsburg; Kurt (Della) Youkey of Roanoke; his mother: Eunice Youkey of Markle and a granddaughter: Macy Youkey. He was preceded in death by his father: Richard Youkey. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2:00pm with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel with Kurt Youkey, his brother officiating.
