Peggy K. Phillips

Peggy K. Phillips, 49 of Zanesville passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at her residence. She attended Southern Wells High School and later received her GED. She then attended Ivy Tech, and Indiana Business Medical College where she received her degree in medical coding. She worked as a logistics coordinator at Saratoga Potato Chips in Fort Wayne. Peggy enjoyed cross stitch, camping, hunting, fishing, horseback riding and barrel racing and Peggy loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #242 in Bluffton. Peggy was born on January 25, 1972 in Bluffton, the daughter of the late Darrell and Cynthia (Campbell) Schneider. Survivors include a son: Richard (Danialle) Phillips of Hartford City; three daughters: Regina Schneider of Vermont, Rissa Schneider - Baumgartner of Quincy, IL, Chelsea (Lee) Cutshall of Huntington; three brothers: Ricky (Rochelle) Schneider of South Whitley, Justin Best of Hoagland, Michael Maas of Quincy, IL; four sisters: Rita (Michael) Wickey of Markle, Becky Schneider – White of Cincinnati, OH, Machelle Yencer of Decatur, Tammy (Jim) Blair of Quincy, IL; mother: Charlotte Yencer of Zanesville; grandmother: Annette Best of Markle; seven grandchildren: Adalyn, Asher, Ayla, Octavio, Cecil, Charleston and Aubery. She was preceded in death by her father: Joseph Yencer. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana. Funeral service will follow visitation at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s guidelines for Mask’s, Social Distancing and Social Gathering Limits. Interment will take place at a later date at the Hoverstock Cemetery in Zanesville.
