Mrs. Sheila K. VanBuskirk Huffman

She was born on January 17, 1944 in Grant County, a daughter of Virgil “Paul” and Mildred (Smart) Van Buskirk-Walker.

She was united in marriage to Joe Huffman on June 4, 1977 in Andrews. He preceded her in death on August 27, 1999.

Survivors include three daughters: Robin Zimmerman of Fort Wayne; Karen (Allen) Carmichael of Huntington; Toni Huffman of Fort Wayne; three stepdaughters: JoEllen Gonzalez of San Antonio, TX; Terri Poehler of Plainfield, IN; Lauri Schultz of Plainfield, IN; two stepsons: Phillip Huffman of San Antonio, TX; Matthew Huffman of Tocsin, IN; three brothers: Terry Van Buskirk of Andrews; David Walker of Andrews; Phillip Walker of Huntington; a sister: Janet Cox of Huntington; fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepfather: Volney Walker.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana.

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel.
