

Born February 21, 1941 in Marlin, Texas where he spent his childhood. He later met the love of his life, Karin, in Houston, Texas where they became parents & eventually grandparents. He served as a combat medic in Air Calvary in Vietnam ’67 & ’68. Where he was awarded the Presidential Citation Air Medal & was later recognized by Carry the Load for his impactful service. Until the moment he passed, he never forgot any of the men he served alongside & everyone he brought home. After the war, Bobbie joined Eastern Airlines as a Sales Executive where he enjoyed a long career of travel with his family & experiencing one of a kind interactions with celebrities - he always had great stories to tell from his years at Eastern.
Bobbie was not only a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather & friend, but the most generous man who exemplified what it meant to be a follower of Christ. He found his purpose in spreading the word of God to all he met. In addition, he enjoyed supporting his daughter in her equestrian career and his wife’s breeding & showing of Papillons while in their retirement. Bobbie’s priority throughout his life was exceeding in his role as a father & grandfather.
Bobbie’s memory will be carried on by daughter, Kristina Cargill-Atwood & her husband Brent Atwood; son Keith Cargill & his wife Patsy Cargill; son Kenneth Cargill & his wife Angela Cargill; grandchildren Fallon Finnigan, Callie Cargill, Sarah Cargill & Timothy Cargill & step grandchildren Austin Drawbond & Alli Shelton.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Ray & Lucille Cargill; brother, David Ray Cargill, and wife, Karin Cargill.
