David Guenat Sr.

David A. Guenat, Sr., 84 of Riesel entered into rest Saturday, April 7, 2012 in Waco. Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert Kitson officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home.

David was born April 6, 1928 in Otto, TX to Selma Guenat. He married Gladys Koester October 15, 1949. David was employed by General Tire for 35 years and was a member of the Lutheran Church where he held many positions.

David was preceded in death by his mother Selma, his daughters Glinda Harbour and Becky Sue Guenat, son David Guenat, Jr. and great grand-daughter Jordan Kelley.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Guenat of Riesel; sons, Kenneth Guenat and wife Nancy of Waco; Ricky Guenat and wife Dawn of Salado; Terry Guenat and wife Peggy of Riesel; 14 grand children and 11 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Schroeder, John Ballmann, R.L. Kuretsch, Ben Dieterich, Jr. Darrell Koester and Jeff Stubbs. Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Kelley, Michael Guenat, Daniel Guenat and Richard Wallace.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity ECLE, Bluebonnet Health Services or the charity of your choice.
