Janet Evans

Janet was described as an angel on earth, a sweet spirit, a true messenger for the love of Jesus Christ, a real sweetheart, wonderful Christian woman, and a sweet lady by friends and family.

Janet dedicated her entire working life of forty plus years in service to Jesus through Campus Crusade for Christ / CRU. Upon retiring, Janet married the love of her life, Carl in 2015, and still spent her remaining years in loving service to Christ, her family, and many friends.

Janet was born December 31, 1946 in Marlin Texas, where she grew up with a loving family and graduated from Marlin High School. Janet attended college in Nacogdoches Texas and upon graduation, began her career with Campus Crusade for Christ. With Campus Crusade, Janet served in San Bernardino, CA, Ruston LA, Tulsa, OK, Dallas TX, Ithaca NY, Manhattan NY, and finally back in Marlin.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Pearl Niemeyer Grams, and her older brother Lloyd Allen Grams.

Janet is survived by brother Ricky Grams and wife Donna, niece Lynn James and husband Gary, nephews Andy Jeske and wife Kim, Jason Grams and wife Shelly, Joe Dan Grams, Dustin Grams, and by many loving cousins from her maternal and paternal side of the family.
