Johanna Pankonien Kuehne

Johanna Minnie (Marie) Pankonien Kuehne, age 98 of Troy, Texas, formerly of Marlin, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 6, 2013. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M.. Funeral Services will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin with Rev. Larry Felice and Rev. Ludy (Monty) Manthei officiating. Burial will follow ar the St. Paul United Church of Christ Cemetery in Marlin.

Mrs. Kuehne was born in Otto, Texas to Adolph and Minnie Pankonien on March 28, 1915. She married William G. (Bill) Kuehne on August 24, 1944. He preceded her in death on November 5, 1987. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a faithful and active member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ until her health began to fail. She will always be remembered for her sweet smile and her sweet disposition.

Surviving Mrs. Kuehne are her children, Diana Massey and husband, Joe, of Troy; Betty Dragoo of Conroe, and William (Will) Kuehne of Marlin; her grandchildren, Todd Adams and wife, Vicki; Dawn Little, Jennifer Powell and husband, Chris; Amanda Kuehne, and David Kuehne and wife, Brittany. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Mychael Adams, Brittanie Adams, Breayona Adams, Kaitlyn Huseby, Dawson Moses, Baily Moses, Kimberlee McLaughlin, B.J. Michael McLaughlin, and Miles Kuehne; three setp grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
