John David Gonzales

John Gonzales, 49, of Garland, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 in Dallas. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 23, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marlin. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Friday, August 22nd at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin. A prayer service will follow the visitation.

Mr. Gonzales was born on September 30, 1964 in Waco Texas to Fred and Camila (Felan) Gonzales. He married Alice Gooden on June 10, 2000 in Dallas, TX, and they celebrate over 14 wonderful years together. Mr. Gonzales received his education in Chilton Independent School District and furthered his education in Criminal Law. He loved to watch wrestling, and being a DJ, but his true love was his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Javoice Gooden.

Survivors include his wife; Alice Gonzales, daughter; Brittany L. McNary-Gonzales, son; Julius McNary, children; Tamecka Anderson (Earny), Meandrea Gooden, Alexia Evans and Tyteanna Evans, sister; Mary Ellen Gonzales-Lopez (Joe), brother; Jim Gonzales (Fern), one Aunt, Lupe Colunga, 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
