Stephen Ray Taylor

Stephen will be cremated with a service to follow in the near future.

Stephen was born in Kerrville on January 21, 1984, to Billy and Tonia who were married in Hamlin, TX on June 15, 1983. The oldest of three children, he grew up being the light on a dark day for parents and siblings alike. He loved his family endlessly and never met a stranger. He loved everything superhero related.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Karen and Gene Taylor of Gatesville, Stephen Vallandingham of San Angelo, Gwendolyn Ann Neil of San Angelo, and nephew Landon Wyatt Sommerfeld of Gatesville.

Stephen is survived by parents Kenneth and Tonia Blackwell of Marlin and Billy and Donna Taylor of Gatesville; siblings, Stacey Weber of Bartlett, Stephanie Taylor of Gatesville, Joseph Blackwell of Marlin, Christopher Sommerfeld of Gatesville, Angela Cannon of Nacogdoches, Andrew Cannon of Nacogdoches, and Amanda Sommerfeld-Taylor of Gatesville; nieces, Hannah Cuellar, Avery Blackwell, Rylee Blackwell, Sophia Weber, Monica Wilson, Addison Taylor, Aspen Taylor, Jordan Cuellar, and Alexus Cuellar; nephews, Levi Cuellar, Micah Cuellar, and James Weber Jr. He is also survived by countless cousins, aunts, and uncles.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society or watch your favorite superhero movie and think of Stephen. A celebration of life will be held in the near future.
