Adrina M. Matherne Billiot, age 87, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 9, 1936, in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, to the late Paul and Hazel Matherne.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William J. Billiot, her parents, and her four siblings, along with her son Randy Billiot. She is survived by her children: Roland Billiot (Macy), Carol Hingle, Larry Billiot (Cindy), and Veronica Pizani.
She was a dedicated grandmother to six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her memory will forever be treasured by her family and friends.
Throughout her life, she worked for Orleans Casket Company, where she made many lasting friendships and contributions.
The family extends their sincere appreciation to the Heart of Hospice (NOLA) for their compassionate care during Adrina's final days.
A funeral service to celebrate Adrina's life will be held on Thursday, March 28 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home for 10:00 AM with a Catholic Service to follow at 1:00PM. Interment to follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, Louisiana. All who knew and loved her are invited to attend and pay their respects.
