Agnes Marie Friloux

Agnes "Aggie" Marie Friloux passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the age of 88. She was born in Belle Alliance, Louisiana to the late Ives and Agnes Ruiz Haynes. Devoted wife of the late Denis L. Friloux. Loving mother of Monica Caillet (Galen), Mark Friloux (Kitty), Marla Medine (David) and Mikki Gaubert (Garret). Proud grandmother of Cody Caillet (Tiffany), Chase Caillet (Kristen), Jeremy Friloux (Dawn), Tiffany Lee (Garrett), Mitzi Dishongh (Eric), Michelle Reulet (Jean), Megan Otwell (Steven), Khloe Dowden (Jared) and Kelsey Gaubert and great-grandmother of Tyler and Madison Caillet, Olivia and Cameron Caillet, Lily Friloux, Makayla and Mckenzie Harrell, Veronica Lee, Brayden and Breanna Dishongh, Luke, Jacob and Lydia Reulet and A.J., Dagen and Jax Dowden. Sister of Shirley Gaubert, Eva Friloux, Catherine "Cat" Breaux, Dale Haynes and the late Betty Haynes, Joseph Haynes, James Haynes and Dave Haynes. Aggie is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends, especially her dancing buddies.

Aggie loved music and dancing, building jigsaw puzzles, Hershey's Miniatures and Werthers candies, shopping for new outfits and pajamas and butterflies but most of all, she loved her family unconditionally.

Aggie wanted her family and friends to remember to have "The courage to face life no matter what it sends you."

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers and staff of Davita Dialysis Luling and St. Joseph's Hospice for their loving care during this difficult time.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life for Aggie on Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, in Marrero followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Aggie's memory to Hickory Knoll Church of Christ, PO Box 23067 New Orleans, Louisiana 70183.
