Aimee Molina Melford

Aimee was born on February 13, 1957 to Bernice Molina and the late Joseph Molina.

Aimee was the devoted wife of the late Bernard Melford, Sr., loving mother to Bernard Melford, Jr. (Nikki), Joann Melford and Ernest Melford II (Marjorie). She was also the proud grandmother of Kirsten (Bradon), Ernest III, Barry, Adriana (Tyler), Ignacio "Cheeto" (Destiny), Reyna and Skyler, with each of them bringing her immense joy. Aimee is also the "soon to be" great grandmother to Sienna. She is the beloved sister to Mona, Joseph (Roxie), Ernest (Sherry) and Eugene. Sister-in-Law to Mary Melford. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Aimee is preceded in death by her father Joseph Molina, Sr., her sister Jacqueline, her brother-in-law Rick and her father and mother in-law Ernest and Helen Melford.

Aimee was known for her creativity and passion for crafts which she shared generously with those she loved. She had a contagious laugh and a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten any room. Above all, she was a woman who was always there for her family - steady, supportive and filled with love.

She spent her last 2 weeks on earth at home surrounded by her family whom she loved and who loved her. Her warmth, strength and laughter will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation for Aimee will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, Louisiana. A Catholic service will be begin at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home.
