Alice “Dee Dee” Bartholomew a native of City Price, LA, departed this life on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Bartholomew, Daughter of the late Aurival and Josephine Sylve. She was also preceded in death by 2 grandsons, 2 great granddaughters, 8 sisters, and 2 brothers. Devoted mother of sons Mitchell, Elliot, Jeffrey, Craig Bartholomew, and daughters Melanie Sylve and Lisa Ancar. Survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Patirck’s Catholic Church, Port Sulphur, on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM.
