Allen "Pookie" Joseph Bourg Sr. of Harvey, Louisiana passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at the age of 87. He was born to Junius Bourg and Irene Mendoza Bourg. Pookie married Sylvia Perret Bourg in June of 1957. Together they raised four children, the late Allen J. Bourg, Jr., Holly A. Bourg (Malcolm Faber), Dylan A. Bourg (Karen), and Crystal B. Szewczyk (Craig). Proud Paw Paw of Allen Bourg III, Ciara B. Marx (Josh), Olivia Szewczyk, and Aiden Szewczyk. Great Grandfather of Brody Marx. Pookie is survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held privately by his loving family.
