Anne Marie Cortez, age 60, of Edgard, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Manuel and Camille Garcia. She was married to Wayne A. Cortez, Sr. Loving mother of Paul Garcia, Jessica Gore, Amanda Comardelle, and Kristen Kalili. Anne was also the proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Sister of two surviving brothers. Anne is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who are left to cherish her memory.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service time.
