Audrey Mae Cash

August 18, 1925 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Sunday, April 5, 2020 in New Orleans at the age of 94. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Audrey was employed as a nurses aide for many years in New Orleans before she retired. She taught herself to play guitar by ear and was always a people person who enjoyed visiting relatives in Kentucky and spending time with her children and grandchildren in New Orleans.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Charlotte Cash, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of New Orleans; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by three children: Johnny Cash, Lynn Cash, and Martha Acy. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Billie and D.C. Phillips; and two sisters: Dixie Lowe and Ann Mattingly.
