Betty Ann Perrin

Betty Pizani Perrin entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 27, 2022 at West Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 90. She was born on August 23, 1931 in Barataria, Louisiana to the late Charles and Hilda Perkins Pizani. Devoted wife of the late Wilman Perrin, Sr. Beloved mother of Wilman Perrin, Jr. (Dale), Suzanna Matherne Despaux (Byron) and the late Errol Perrin (Barbara). Proud grandmother of Amy Rojas (CJ), Jan Schouest (Noel), Jeannine Dardar (Victor), Errol Perrin, Jr. (Heidi), Brandee Boutte (Jay), Byron Despaux, Jr. and the late Wendy Perrin and Jason Perrin, 15 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Opal Pizani Ruttley and the late Marion Pizani Christen, Lewin Pizani, Larry Pizani and Terry Pizani. Betty is also survived by Helana Marton, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Betty lived in Barataria all of her life. She enjoyed going to the senior center, playing cards and fishing but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Betty was loved and will be missed by all who were blessed to have known her.

The family would like to thank Pauline Christen, the members of Omni Health Care and also the staff of West Jefferson Medical Center and all other who assisted with their outstanding and compassionate service.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the visitation on Friday, July 1, 2022 beginning at 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM at St. Pius Catholic Church, 8151 Barataria Blvd., in Marrero. Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 PM and the interment will follow at St. Pius Cemetery.
