Brian D. Filbeck

Brian D. Filbeck, age 66, of Westwego, LA passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024 at West Jefferson Medical Center Hospital. He was born December 24, 1957. He will be deeply missed, especially by his loving, devoted wife of 40 years, Sue Filbeck. Son of Joan Kettlewell Filbeck of Lexington, MI and the late Dale J. Filbeck. Brother of Mark Filbeck (Debbie) of Croswell, MI and the late Paul Filbeck and David Filbeck (Jennifer). Uncle of Freya, Oden, Stacey (Jason) and Brandon (Lindsay). Brian was a retired rural carrier for the United States Postal Service and was a United States Army Veteran. Brian enjoyed the outdoors, going for walks, listening to Rock and Roll music and spending time with his family and friends. In his younger years he enjoyed riding his Harley. He enjoyed cooking, especially barbequing. Brian had a wonderful personality. He was a very kind, generous, humble and sincere man. He will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. No flowers or cards are necessary. Brian loved animals so a memorial contribution may be made to the Louisiana SPCA or to the charity of your choice.
