Carol Mary Bergeron Bankston passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the age of 68. She was the beloved wife of Edgar Charles Bankston Sr. for almost 50 years. Daughter of Irvin Bergeron Sr. and Lovedee Adams Bergeron. Mother of Edgar Charles Bankston Jr. (Brandy) and Audra Bankston St Pierre (Edward). Sister of Roy Bergeron (the late Lillian), Patricia LeBlanc (A.J.), and Jack Bergeron (Cindy), as well as the late Barbara Brelie and Irvin “Pete” Bergeron Jr. Loving grandmother of Edward, Cammie, Mason, Kayeleigh, Madison, and Joseph. She is also survived by 24 nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. She was a caring person, who devoted her life to serving others, as the best mother and wife, and working in her church particularly the church school.
A Memorial Service will be held at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
