Carole Sturm Hildreth

Carole Sturm Underwood Hildreth, 70, of Marrero LA passed away on Friday, July 5 , 2013 in the company of her loving children after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Born May 4, 1943 in Holly Grove Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Clarice Romine and beloved Grandchild raised by the late Clarence & Ethel Wilkinson. She is survived by her four children: Jerry M. Underwood Jr. (Rita), Dawn Gros, (Robert), Dena Aicklen (Gregory), Carla Underwood (the last Chris Leonard). She has many loving grandchildren: Eric, Erron, Ricky, Rory, Bethlyn, Kayla, Briana, Rachel & Jacob. And several loving great grandchildren: Andre, Ethan, Gracie, Jordan, Kaleb, Isiah, Londyn, Lyla. She had many friends and close relatives that she kept in touch with all of her life. She had a tremendous amout of love for her friends from her church family in Arkansas she met during Katrina, Helen & Karla Darden. While she loved her family she always included the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel Team to her list as family. She loved working with so many of her colleagues. Our family is blessed to know that she was loved so much by so many. Not to mention clients whom she touched by just picking up the phone. One of their guests, Mr. Jim Pfiffer sent her a card every day to keep her spirits high.The family is certainly sad to see her go but we know that she was one remarkable woman and she is now sharing this joy with the ones who met her at the gates of Heaven. Memorial visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Monday, July 8, 2013 at Westside Leitz Eagan Funeral Home and we will conclude visitation with a prayer service at 6:00 pm in the Chapel with Mr. Ronnie McSwain officiating. The family will then gather at the home of Dena & Greg Aicklen if you would like to attend.
