Mr. Carroll J. "Paw" Aucoin Sr.

Carroll J. “Paw” Aucoin, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the age of 78 with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Myrtle Bourgeois Aucoin and the loving father of Thomas “Tommy” Aucoin, Sr. (Wanda), Kim Haber (Larry), Timothy “Timmy” Aucoin (Cindy) and Carroll “PeeWee” Aucoin, Jr. (Connie Costanza). He was the devoted grandfather of Karen Fury (Keith), Charlotte Callaway, Lawrence “Larry” Haber, III, Thomas “Lil Tommy” Aucoin, Jr., Amber Choina (Corey), Abbie Aucoin, Kimberly Aucoin, Brandi Aucoin and Heaven Costanza as well as the great-grandfather of Kristin, Kaiden, Bruce, Kila and Carson. He was the son of the late Albert J. Aucoin, Sr. and Martha Breaux Aucoin and the brother of Mary Lou, Calvin, Marjie, Steven, Albert, Katherine, Linda, Cheryl, Donald, Elda, Veronica, Judy, Ruby and the late Francis “Pookie” Aucoin. Paw is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He retired from Chevron with just under 40 years of service.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Chapel.
