Charles "Teddy" Theodore Berger

Charles "Teddy" Theodore Berger passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 18th, 2022, at the age of 83. Teddy was a lifelong native of Westwego, Louisiana born to the late Pierce Berger and Doris Bergeron Berger. Loving husband to the late Beverly Falgout Berger for 52 years before she recently passed away in 2021. Step Father of Joan Malone (the late Lonie), Edward "Sonny Boy" Vedros, and the late Thomas Vedros. The beloved and devoted "Pa" to Kellie Vedros Sepcich (Dwayne), Rochelle Vedros LeBlanc (David), Denise Malone, and Crystal Malone Hartman (Chad). Great Grandfather of Danielle Bracey (Matt), Samantha Malone, David LeBlanc, Victoria Malone, Michael Dugas, Justin Malone, Jordan Malone, Brandon Hartman, and Liam Hartman. Great Great Grandfather of Jaylenn Bracey, Aaliyah Bell, Darren Bracey, and Landon Malone. Brother of the late Richard Berger (the late Emily). Uncle of Kim Berger Guidroz (Rich), Melissa Berger Olsen (Wade), Lori Berger Dean (Kenny), and Richard Berger Jr. (Suzanne). Teddy is also survived by other relatives and friends who are left to cherish his memory.

A Mass will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home at 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. The visitation will begin at 10:00AM and continue until the Mass time. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego, Louisiana.
