She is preceded in death by her parents, Ovide E. Le Blanc & Violet Lee (Tassin) (Oubre) Le Blanc; grandparents – Steven & Mary (Gros) Tassin; grandparents, William & Mary Le Blanc and great grandparents, Alcide & Cordelia Dupre and a second cousin, George Depoorter.

She is survived by a first cousin (raised with her as a sister) Jane D. Morris (husband/Vernon Wayne Morris & son/godson, David Wayne Morris).

Also first cousins, Mrs. Beatrice (Ragusa) Robin (husband/Floyd; Mrs. Elaine (Ragusa)

Musso and Mrs. Patricia (Ragusa) Harrison. Other first cousins are Alton (wife/Barbara) Moulliet, Floyd & Lloyd Moulliet and Barbara Moore.

Also former husband, Vernon S. Welman, Jr. who was a very special friend and helper during her illness for many years and his sister, Lori Welman.

Second cousins are Mrs. Debbie A. Skaggs (husband/Wm. “Bill” & daughter/Stacie); Albert Springman; Kenneth O. Springman (wife/Roseann & son/Keith).

Friends and relatives are invited to the Memorial Service on December 2, 2013 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072. Visitation at 10 a.m., Memorial Service at 11 a.m. and internment following at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, 146 Fourth St., Westwego, LA 70094.

The Family wishes to thank West Jefferson Medical Center for the care she received there during the many times she was hospitalized in the last few years.

Special thanks goes to the Marrero Healthcare Center to Mr. Philip Sweeny, Dir., Mrs. Amanda Davis, Asst. Bus. Admin., Mrs. Marilyn Jackson, Social Worker, Lela, the nurses, aids, etc., who took such kind and compassionate care of Cynthia during her stay there from December 28, 2012 through November 21, 2013.
