Cynthia "Cindy" Marie (Boudreaux) Smith, age 74, of Westwego, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Cynthia was born October 13, 1947. Beloved wife of the late Roy V. Smith; mother of Sonia Rojas Lachney (Chuck) and Roy James Smith (Jodi); grandmother of Daniel Lachney, Sage Lachney, Chuck Lachney Jr., Chad Lachney, Halie Bridges, Sierra Smith, Michaela Smith, Raine Smith, and the late Joel Rojas;. great grandmother of Eliza Delcid and the late Everly Delcid. sister of Barbara Eccles, Jane Murley, Patricia Boudreaux, Steve Boudreaux, and the late Betty Boudreaux Donahue; daughter of the late Melvin Boudreaux and Thelma Morvant Boudreaux. She is also survived by many family members and friends. Cindy was the loving companion of many years to the late Gerald "Jerry" Ledet, Sr., with whom she shared her love of dancing.
An inurnment will be scheduled at a later date in the Chapel of Faith in Westlawn Cemetery. A Memorial Service will also be scheduled at a later date. Services under the direction of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home.
