Deanna Breaux Hill

Deanna Breaux Hill, of Westwego, Louisiana passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the age of 83. Deanna was born in Bourg, Louisiana to the late Clyde and Hilda Breaux. She was married to Frank M. Hill for 63 loving years. Devoted mother of Dana Hill, Jamie Primeaux (Eddie), and Clyde Hill (Paula). Loving Grandma of Heidi Lanier (Wesley), Heather Bourgeois (Brent), Alana Hannan (Frankie), Kelsey Daigle (Brandon), Allison Hill, and six great grandchildren. Sister of Evelyn Freeman, Kathy VanPelt (Larry), Renee' Mansfield (Craig), and the late Steven Breaux. Deanna is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who are left to cherish her memory. She will be greatly missed by all who were loved by her.

Deanna loved her family and friends more than anything. She hosted many holiday parties and gatherings. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, especially seafood boils.

Deanna's family would like to express their gratitude to the nursing staff, especially Debbie Claros and Dee Alexander Deaut of St. Joseph Hospice, and the Eucharistic Minister Wendy Hymel for their care and compassion during her time of need.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 146 4th Street in Westwego, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 10:00AM and continue until the Mass time. Deanna will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum following the Mass.
