Derlyn "DeDe" Ann Callegan

Derlyn "DeDe" Ann Callegan of Luling, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at the age of 66. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Anthony J. Sciacca and Ray Mary Derbis Sciacca. DeDe was married to Anthony J. Callegan, Sr. for 29 loving years. Loving and devoted mother of Jessica Scorsone (Jason), Shantell Schouest (Jay), A.J. Callegan (Becky), and Megan Hartman (George). Proud Granny of Alissa Metzler-Scorsone, Gage Callegan, Angelle Scorsone, Gavin Schouest, Brianna Hartman, Ashton Scorsone, Maelee Callegan, Kaylee Hartman, and Bubba Hartman. Sister of Terri Shepard (John), Tony Sciacca (Becky), Troy Sciacca (Nicole), Rayann Sciacca (Ricky), and Kirk Sciacca (Christa). DeDe is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who are left to cherish her memory.

A Catholic Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, August 7th, 2023 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service time. DeDe will be laid to rest at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, Louisiana.
