

Dolores Laine Ouder entered into Heaven on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of Harold Philip Ouder, Sr. Mother of Phyllis Ouder DePriest (the late Dwight), and Harold Philip Ouder, Jr. (Jeanne). Daughter of the late Alfred John Laine and Henrietta Waters Laine. Grandmother of Troy DePriest, Nicolle DePriest Scholl, Lisa DePriest, and Christine Ouder. Great grandmother of Alex DePriest, Ryan DePriest, Kyler VanCamp, Anne Marie DePriest, Emma Scholl, and Logan Evans. Sister of Mary Ann Holley Huber, and John Laine, as well as the late Alfreda Laine, Gertrude Dixon Cotton Alcantar, Gerald Laine, and Alfred J. Laine. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was a proud veteran of the US Army who served in the WAC and WAAC during World War II, completing her service as a Sergeant. She was an active member of the WAC Veterans Association, and volunteered at the VA Hospital until Hurricane Katrina. She was a long time resident of New Orleans and the Westbank, who also lived for several years in Waveland, MS.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Lakelawn Park Mausoleum. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
