Donris Ann Jeanfreau, with all her grace and dignity, went on to live in light, love and glory with all whose gone before her. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Donald H. Jeanfreau, Sr. and Loris Tridico Jeanfreau. Donris was the sister of Angela Jeanfreau Hebert, Regina Jeanfreau McGowen and the late Donald H. Jeanfreau, Jr. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, godchildren and friends.Donris was blessed to have a host of dear friends that were there for every one of her needs over the years. She truly treasured their friendship and loyalty.
Donris may be best remembered as your salesperson at Zales in Oakwood. She simply loved her profession and all the opportunities in assisting her customers in choosing the perfect piece of jewelry to suite the occasion.
Donris was a graduate of Archbishop Blend High School, class of '69. She attended both LSU and Nicholls State where she was crowned Miss Nicholls State.
Donris will be missed, however, never forgotten with her larger than life presence.
