Dorothy Mae Bruce

Dorothy Mae Creppel Bruce entered peacefully into heaven on Sunday, August 2, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 71. She is survived by her devoted husband, Gustave Louis Bruce, Sr. and a loving mother of John Joseph Bruce, Sr. (Mindy), Gustave Louis Bruce, Jr. (Sue Ann), Doris Bruce Mills (Richard), Tracy David “Goose” Bruce, and the late Dale Adam Bruce and Terry Frank Bruce. A proud grandmother of Jagger, Nick, Mariah, Amber, Raylynn, John, Jr. Bruce, Kristin and Kayla Bruce, Jessica Leonard Templet (Glen), Angele Leonard, Dustin Bruce and Zakk Johnson. Also a great grandmother of Julian Templet, Gunner Templet, Gabriel Templet and Brooklynn Parker.

Daughter of the late Louise Guidry Creppel and Leo Creppel. Sister of Adam Creppel, Gerald Creppel (Lena), Leona C. Billiot and preceded in death by Davis Creppel, Mercedes C. Simpson, Florence C. Williams, Marie C. Murray and Victoria C. Cheramie. She was also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Barataria Baptist Church, 2596 Jean Lafitte Blvd., Lafitte, LA., on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Visitation from 10:00 am until Funeral time. Interment will be private at a later date.
