Dorothy Marie Guilliot Chauvin passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013. She was 82. Wife of the late Earlis Chauvin. Mother of Veronica Chauvin Cantrelle (Donald), Yvonne Chauvin Prestenbach (Allen), Vanessa Chauvin Rodriguez (Marcell), and Denise Chauvin Schaffer (Kelly). Grandmother Heidi Cantrelle Jones (Warren), Ron Cantrelle, Jamie Cantrelle, Kelly Powell Talamo, Christian Rodriguez, Scott Burregi, Sal Schaffer (Dawn). Also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sister of Lloyd Guilliot, Sr. (Melissa), Cheryl Guilliot Dufrene (Ricky). Preceded in death by her parents, Emile Joseph Guilliot, Sr. and Marie Delaune Guilliot and her brother, Emile Joseph Guilliot, Jr. She was a lifelong resident of Marrero, Louisiana. She recently retired after 40 years of service for the medical office of Dr. Fortino. She was an active member of the Women’s Society at St. Bosco Catholic Church. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service from Westside LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Monday Afternoon, March 4, 2013 at 1:00.
