Dudley Joseph Mayfield passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 at the age of 74. He was the brother of Ella Mayfield Kraemer and Teddy Mayfield, as well as the late Edward Mayfield, Edmond Mayfield, Gercie Boudreaux, Mildred Pizani, and Murphy Mayfield. Son of the late Edmond Mayfield and Augustine Chaisson Mayfield. Longtime friend of the late John Dahlston. He was retired from the Jefferson Parish School Board, where he served as plant manager for Fisher High School in Lafitte.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Fleming Cemetery in Lafitte. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
