Known by many as "Coach", Earl was a teacher for the St. Charles Parish School System, beginning his career at Luling Elementary and retiring from Hahnville High School. During his teaching career, Earl touched many lives and made lasting friendships with his former students. One of his proudest accomplishments was coaching on the 1968 and 1972 Tigers' state championship teams. He never missed a Hahnville game and loved cheering for the Tigers. He would also travel near and far to attend every game his grandchildren played. Earl loved fishing and camping, tinkering with lawn mowers and he could fix anything but a broken heart. He could cut a rug on the dance floor like nobody else and danced his way joyfully through life. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus 2409 and was a good and faithful servant to the Lord. Earl and Billie enjoyed traveling with the "Crusin' Cajuns" and "Busy Bees" where they made many lasting friendships. Earl was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
